Mets are quickly becoming the team to beat this year.
Blockbuster of the year goes down as the Red Sox and Yankees switch ownership. Scarola takes the 6-0 Red Sox and loads up with a few extra weapons, as Kushner takes the Yankees and vows to make them winners.
PRESEASON BASEBALL RANKINGS:
1. Mets - 4-2 Benincasa has the Mets playing like World Champs. Team needs some more power.
2 - White Sox - 3-1 Without Tuffarelli. Rumor has it Tuffarelli has stick skills. Will be interesting to see how he does with the old Jano power hitting White Sox.
3. Yankees - 2-5* Should bounce back to the top 3 now that Kushner is running the show. Will not sit in 6th place much longer.
4. Red Sox - 6-0 - this team has the talent. If Scarola commits to learning the finer points of the game, they are the team to beat.
5. Giants - 2-1 will sink or swim depending on Wasabi Junior.
6. Washington - 0-3 Porter needs to get in the dugout and out of the Hot Euro Sun. .
7. Cubs - 2-2 Needs an owner --- team has no character.
8. Athletics - 0-5 Good team -- bad coach --- good GM.
Will the Yankees be able to pull out of 6th place?
Fans hope for success in the Bronx as a new owner with a track record for winning acquires the Yankees.
